According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q3, the average weekly wage for Texas was $786. Among all Texas counties, Carson County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.25K), followed by Dallas County ($960), and Harris County ($951).

On the other hand, Hall County had the lowest average weekly wage ($393), followed by Zavala County ($402), and Haskell County ($405).
