According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q1, the average weekly wage for Texas was $886. Among all Texas counties, Carson County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.43K), followed by Sutton County ($1.21K), and Somervell County ($1.18K).

On the other hand, Foard County had the lowest average weekly wage ($411), followed by Zavala County ($416), and Kent County ($420).
