According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q1, the average weekly wage for Vermont was $639. Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden County had the highest average weekly wage ($763), followed by Washington County ($651), and Rutland County ($601).

On the other hand, Grand Isle County had the lowest average weekly wage ($456), followed by Lamoille County ($486), and Orleans County ($509).
