According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q3, the average weekly wage for Vermont was $672. Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden County had the highest average weekly wage ($778), followed by Washington County ($688), and Windham County ($649).

On the other hand, Grand Isle County had the lowest average weekly wage ($488), followed by Lamoille County ($548), and Orleans County ($552).
