According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2007 Q1, the average weekly wage for Vermont was $704. Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden County had the highest average weekly wage ($845), followed by Washington County ($721), and Windham County ($663).

On the other hand, Grand Isle County had the lowest average weekly wage ($519), followed by Essex County ($524), and Lamoille County ($539).
