According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2007 Q4, the average weekly wage for Vermont was $742. Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden County had the highest average weekly wage ($875), followed by Washington County ($731), and Windsor County ($703).

On the other hand, Grand Isle County had the lowest average weekly wage ($572), followed by Orleans County ($595), and Essex County ($602).
