According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q3, the average weekly wage for Vermont was $733. Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden County had the highest average weekly wage ($851), followed by Washington County ($776), and Franklin County ($712).

On the other hand, Grand Isle County had the lowest average weekly wage ($527), followed by Essex County ($548), and Lamoille County ($606).
