According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q4, the average weekly wage for Vermont was $805. Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden County had the highest average weekly wage ($939), followed by Washington County ($837), and Franklin County ($805).

On the other hand, Essex County had the lowest average weekly wage ($606), followed by Orleans County ($626), and Lamoille County ($667).
