According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q3, the average weekly wage for Virginia was $816. Among all Virginia counties, Arlington County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.29K), followed by Goochland County ($1.19K), and Fairfax County ($1.19K).

On the other hand, Highland County had the lowest average weekly wage ($396), followed by Grayson County ($425), and Floyd County ($430).
