According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q1, the average weekly wage for Virginia was $920. Among all Virginia counties, Surry County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.50K), followed by Arlington County ($1.47K), and Goochland County ($1.47K).
On the other hand, Patrick County had the lowest average weekly wage ($445), followed by Floyd County ($467), and Highland County ($467).
