According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2014 Q3, the average weekly wage for Virginia was $989. Among all Virginia counties, Arlington County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.55K), followed by Fairfax County ($1.45K), and King George County ($1.42K).

On the other hand, Highland County had the lowest average weekly wage ($492), followed by Mathews County ($514), and Appomattox County ($515).
