According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2017 Q1, the average weekly wage for Virginia was $1.13K. Among all Virginia counties, Goochland County had the highest average weekly wage ($2.37K), followed by Arlington County ($1.85K), and Fairfax County ($1.75K).

On the other hand, Mathews County had the lowest average weekly wage ($526), followed by Appomattox County ($541), and Patrick County ($547).
