According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2004 Q3, the average weekly wage for West Virginia was $559. Among all West Virginia counties, Boone County had the highest average weekly wage ($702), followed by Marshall County ($682), and Pleasants County ($657).
On the other hand, Wirt County had the lowest average weekly wage ($336), followed by Summers County ($366), and Wetzel County ($384).
