According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q4, the average weekly wage for West Virginia was $627. Among all West Virginia counties, Boone County had the highest average weekly wage ($841), followed by Mingo County ($747), and Marshall County ($723).
On the other hand, Tucker County had the lowest average weekly wage ($438), followed by Wirt County ($438), and Summers County ($439).
