According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2015 Q4, the average weekly wage for West Virginia was $830. Among all West Virginia counties, Marshall County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.01K), followed by Putnam County ($957), and Pleasants County ($949).

On the other hand, Wirt County had the lowest average weekly wage ($576), followed by Pocahontas County ($602), and Pendleton County ($603).
