According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2017 Q4, the average weekly wage for West Virginia was $847. Among all West Virginia counties, Marshall County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.22K), followed by Doddridge County ($1.05K), and Putnam County ($976).

On the other hand, Wirt County had the lowest average weekly wage ($553), followed by Pocahontas County ($590), and Clay County ($599).
