According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2024 Q2, the average weekly wage for West Virginia was $1.13K. Among all West Virginia counties, Doddridge County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.38K), followed by Putnam County ($1.28K), and Monongalia County ($1.27K).

On the other hand, Pocahontas County had the lowest average weekly wage ($803), followed by Pendleton County ($821), and Lincoln County ($840).
