According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2004 Q1, the average weekly wage for Wisconsin was $657. Among all Wisconsin counties, Milwaukee County had the highest average weekly wage ($772), followed by Winnebago County ($743), and Waukesha County ($738).

On the other hand, Florence County had the lowest average weekly wage ($379), followed by Bayfield County ($383), and Iron County ($401).
