Ranking of US States By Average Weekly Wage in 2005 Q2

According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, for 2005 Q2, among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,234), followed by Connecticut ($945), and Massachusetts ($916).

On the other hand, South Dakota had the lowest average weekly wage ($540), followed by Montana ($553), and Mississippi ($556).
