According to data from the US BLS, in March 2022, the United States Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (CPI-U): Midwest - Size Class B/C was 171.508 and the 12-month percent change (inflation rate) was 8.9%% (not seasonally adjusted). The Motor fuel item had the highest 12-month percent change or inflation rate (45.8%), followed by New and used motor vehicles (25.6%), and Food at home (11.9%).
