According to data from the US BLS, in March 2022, the United States Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (CPI-U): Northeast - Size Class B/C was 177.076 and the 12-month percent change (inflation rate) was 8.0%% (not seasonally adjusted). The Motor fuel item had the highest 12-month percent change or inflation rate (47.9%), followed by Household energy (25.0%), and New and used motor vehicles (20.7%).
