According to data from the US BLS, in March 2022, the United States Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (CPI-U): West - Size Class B/C was 178.019 and the 12-month percent change (inflation rate) was 9.0%% (not seasonally adjusted). The Motor fuel item had the highest 12-month percent change or inflation rate (48.2%), followed by New and used motor vehicles (21.9%), and Household energy (13.1%).
