United States Median Weekly Earnings By Race and Ethnicity of Full-Time Workers with an Advanced Degree

According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2022, the median weekly earnings (without seasonal adjustment) of full-time working Blacks aged 25 years and over in the United States who have an advanced degree, was $1,464; that of Whites in the same age group and educational level was $1,755, and that of Asians in the same age group and educational level was $1,978. Also, the median weekly earnings of Hispanics, of all racial backgrounds, in the same age group and educational level was $1,547.

A closer look at the median weekly earnings of full-time U.S. workers with an advanced degree in 2022 by race, hispanic ethnicity, and gender, reveals the following rankings:

  1. Asian Men: $2,279
  2. White Men: $2,013
  3. Asian Women: $1,836
  4. Hispanic Men: $1,757
  5. Black Men: $1,604
  6. White Women: $1,540
  7. Hispanic Women: $1,424
  8. Black Women: $1,357
