United States Median Weekly Earnings By Race and Ethnicity of Full-Time Workers with an Advanced Degree

According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2021, the median weekly earnings (without seasonal adjustment) of full-time working Blacks aged 25 years and over in the United States who have an advanced degree, was $1,360; that of Whites in the same age group and educational level was $1,662, and that of Asians in the same age group and educational level was $1,895. Also, the median weekly earnings of Hispanics, of all racial backgrounds, in the same age group and educational level was $1,536.

A closer look at the median weekly earnings of full-time U.S. workers with an advanced degree in 2021 by race, hispanic ethnicity, and gender, reveals the following rankings:

  1. Asian Men: $2,090
  2. White Men: $1,916
  3. Hispanic Men: $1,750
  4. Asian Women: $1,619
  5. Black Men: $1,561
  6. White Women: $1,465
  7. Hispanic Women: $1,401
  8. Black Women: $1,248
