According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2009:

  1. Alaska: 300
  2. Louisiana: 200
  3. Arkansas: -100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2009:

  1. California: -29,700
  2. Florida: -7,800
  3. Arizona: -6,800
