According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2019:

  1. California: 1,300
  2. Florida: 600
  3. Montana: 500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Federal Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2019:

  1. New Mexico: -400
  2. North Dakota: -200
  3. Arizona: -200
