According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2010:

  1. New York: 3,000
  2. Ohio: 1,600
  3. Massachusetts: 1,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Financial Activities industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2010:

  1. District of Columbia: -700
  2. Alabama: -500
  3. New Jersey: -400
