According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2016:
- Florida: 2,500
- Louisiana: 1,500
- New Jersey: 1,400
On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Goods Producing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2016:
- California: -11,200
- Alaska: -4,200
- Minnesota: -2,100
