According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2016:

  1. California: 9,600
  2. Georgia: 2,900
  3. New York: 2,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Information industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2016:

  1. Missouri: -800
  2. Louisiana: -400
  3. Oklahoma: -100
