According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2006:

  1. New York: 26,900
  2. New Jersey: 22,800
  3. California: 21,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Leisure and Hospitality industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2006:

  1. Florida: -4,200
  2. Arizona: -2,500
  3. District of Columbia: 500
