According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2010:

  1. Michigan: 6,300
  2. Ohio: 5,600
  3. Indiana: 5,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Manufacturing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2010:

  1. Alaska: -900
  2. Hawaii: -200
  3. California: -200
