According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2014:

  1. California: 8,900
  2. Georgia: 1,500
  3. Minnesota: 1,400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Non-Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2014:

  1. Alaska: -3,800
  2. Oklahoma: -200
  3. New Jersey: -200
