According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Private Service Providing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2014:

  1. California: 61,300
  2. New York: 59,700
  3. Florida: 55,600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Private Service Providing industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2014:

  1. New Jersey: -7,700
  2. North Carolina: -5,200
  3. Kentucky: -3,900
