According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2003:

  1. Illinois: 12,600
  2. Pennsylvania: 10,200
  3. Michigan: 10,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2003:

  1. California: -5,000
  2. Florida: -2,600
  3. Hawaii: -300
