According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2007:

  1. Illinois: 2,300
  2. Kansas: 1,600
  3. New Jersey: 1,500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Professional and Business Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2007:

  1. Florida: -20,900
  2. Michigan: -12,900
  3. Connecticut: -4,000
