According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2005:

  1. California: 8,700
  2. Florida: 6,900
  3. New York: 6,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2005:

  1. Indiana: -300
  2. Michigan: -200
