According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the State Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2003:

  1. Pennsylvania: 11,800
  2. Wisconsin: 9,600
  3. Colorado: 8,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the State Government industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2003:

  1. Kansas: -300
  2. Wyoming: -100
  3. Rhode Island: 0
