  2. Jefferson: 8,191
  3. Montgomery: 6,309
  4. Calhoun: 4,205
  5. Dale: 2,885
  6. Mobile: 2,699
  7. Tuscaloosa: 1,694
  8. Limestone: 1,456
  9. Macon: 938
  10. Colbert: 597

The following were the rankings of the top 10 Alabama counties based on the number of Federal Government jobs added to All Industries in March 2020:

  1. Madison: 89
  2. Calhoun: 51
  3. Mobile: 33
  4. Montgomery: 25
  5. Etowah: 17
  6. Baldwin: 15
  7. Cherokee: 14
  8. Wilcox: 10
  9. Houston: 9
  10. Conecuh: 8
