  2. Jefferson: 8,341
  3. Montgomery: 6,403
  4. Calhoun: 4,136
  5. Dale: 2,917
  6. Mobile: 2,690
  7. Tuscaloosa: 1,727
  8. Limestone: 1,443
  9. Macon: 933
  10. Colbert: 614

The following were the rankings of the top 10 Alabama counties based on the number of Federal Government jobs added to All Industries in March 2021:

  1. Jefferson: 60
  2. Madison: 60
  3. Tuscaloosa: 19
  4. Pickens: 13
  5. Montgomery: 12
  6. Morgan: 12
  7. Dale: 11
  8. Mobile: 9
  9. Lee: 7
  10. Calhoun: 6
