According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Alaska added 1,216 number of jobs to all federal government business establishments. Among Alaska counties, Anchorage added the highest number of jobs (460), followed by Matanuska-Susitna (257), and Kenai Peninsula (185).
