  5. Boone: 2,697
  6. Greene: 2,409
  7. Clay: 1,455
  8. Johnson: 1,229
  9. St. Charles: 918
  10. Butler: 832

The following were the rankings of the top 10 Missouri counties based on the number of Federal Government jobs added to All Industries in September 2020:

  1. St. Louis city: 55
  2. Chariton: 5
  3. Gentry: 2
  4. Knox: 2
  5. Maries: 2
  6. Moniteau: 2
  7. Morgan: 2
  8. Reynolds: 2
  9. Laclede: 1
  10. Shannon: 1
