According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the federal government service-providing industry (737), followed by California (518), and Maryland (461).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-340), followed by Missouri (-328), and Kentucky (-181).
