According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2020, South Dakota added the highest number of jobs to the federal government service-providing industry (-225), followed by North Dakota (-358), and Vermont (-521).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-15,989), followed by Texas (-14,293), and California (-13,594).
