According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, Maryland added the highest number of jobs to the federal government service-providing industry (465), followed by South Carolina (39), and Vermont (24).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-1,197), followed by Florida (-1,133), and Texas (-807).
