According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, Rhode Island added the highest number of jobs to the federal government professional and business services industry (), followed by Washington (675), and Maryland (30).

On the other hand, Mississippi added the least number of jobs (-70), followed by Texas (-30), and Florida (-29).
