According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2020, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the federal government general merchandise stores industry (46), followed by Hawaii (12), and California (7).

On the other hand, Utah added the least number of jobs (-37), followed by Florida (-29), and Alabama (-16).
