According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the federal government professional and technical services industry (53), followed by Mississippi (31), and Florida (26).

On the other hand, North Dakota added the least number of jobs (-19), followed by South Dakota (-18), and Kentucky (-16).
