According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government other professional and technical services industry (8), followed by Massachusetts (7), and Mississippi (6).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-8), followed by New York (-4), and Missouri (-2).
