According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, South Dakota added the highest number of jobs to the federal government elementary and secondary schools industry (16), followed by North Carolina (8), and Virginia (7).

On the other hand, Oregon added the least number of jobs (-25), followed by Georgia (-6), and Kentucky (-2).
