According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, Kentucky added the highest number of jobs to the federal government social assistance industry (46), followed by Maryland (28), and Alaska (7).

On the other hand, Oklahoma added the least number of jobs (-90), followed by Utah (-54), and Virginia (-53).
