According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, South Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the federal government social assistance industry (31), followed by Kansas (14), and Montana (11).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-23), followed by New York (-15), and Maryland (-12).
